College pupils chosen to train with The English Schools Ski Association National Squad...
Sophie Caldwell in Year 8 will join the Junior Training Squad in Pitztal, Austria in March.
Cameron Ryalls in Year 9
Georgina Gardner Stockley
Robert Cross in Year 11 will join the Senior Squad Training Camp in Norway in February.
Good performances in the dry slope races last Autumn and participation in other races and training camps throughout the school year, (including the Summer Term!) have brought these pupils to the attention of the selectors.
It is an honour to be selected, and participation provides students with a unique experience in developing their skills and abilities.
These squads are selected on an annual basis and teams will be selected form the senior squad
to participate in the ISF Schools' World Championships in 2010. The emphasis is on self-discipline, social skills and team-building.
Congratulations and good luck to all four pupils.
