The beginning of May saw Aldford Junior pupils set off to the Glaramara Activity Centre in the Lake District. As the eldest in the school, J6 had an exclusive stay on their own during the week with pupils from the younger classes joining them at the weekend. All the children took part in a range of exciting adventurous activities such as canoeing, mountain trekking and rock climbing.
J5 visited the Discovery City Learning Centre, Wirral to record their own song about Shakespeare’s play – Hamlet. The CLC has blue screen technology equipment which allowed the children to record a DVD of the song too.
