As well as excellent individual achievements our team performances have been impressive. 13 students were selected for the Chester and District athletics team and 20 students selected for the ISA North team competing across a range of individual events.\n</p>\n<p>\nOur Year 7 girls’ team are ISA North Champions and in the same competition, the Year 8/9 girls’ team came 3rd. The Year 8/9 boys’ team came 2nd and the Inter boys’ came 3rd.\n</p>\n<p>\nWe also have a number of students holding Area and/or National records, one of which has not been broken for 20 years!! Twenty students from Abbey Gate College were selected to compete for the North team and these athletes returned with 3 Championship records, 15 medals and 3 personal best performances!\n</p>\n<p>\nCongratulations to all our athletes………..roll on next summer!\n</p>\n<p><hr /></p>\n<h3 align=\"center\">Athletic Success. </h3>\n<p>\nThe Year 7 girls achieved third place at the ISA North Athletic Championships. They all performed with enthusiasm and many of the girls managed to demonstrate personal best performances on the day. Anna Williams proved to be particularly successful and won her Discus event.  Chester and District Cross Country.
