Abbey Gate College GCSE results are the best yet!
Year 11 students at Abbey Gate College are celebrating record breaking results at GCSE this year. Over 50% of grades achieved were at A* or A,and 82% of the grades secured by the students were at grade B or better.
With an overall pass rate of 96% the Head,Lynne Horner, is very proud of the pupils. “It requires hard work and dedication by the teachers and young people to achieve such good results – along with that all important parental support.
We have made great progress at Abbey Gate College in recent years and these results reward our educational approach which combines academic success and personal development for all our students.”
The Chapel Choir led Evensong at the Abbey to over 600 visitors every evening.
