As part of their 'Heatlhy Lifestyle' week, all the pupils of Aldford School, had the exciting opportunity to make their very own apple juice using a traditional apple press.
The grandfather of Aldford pupil, Anna Holden, very generously brought all the equipment to school and class by class, the children learned about the different processes involved in apple juice making, culminating in a delicious juice tasting!
The children have been taking part in a selection of activities during this week, ranging from sandwich making and planning a healthy menu to exploring unusual fruit and dressing up as a variety of apple.
Infant, George Smith uses all his might to turn the press whilst his classmates look on.
The Chapel Choir led Evensong at the Abbey to over 600 visitors every evening.
