TOGETHER FOR TEA!
On Thursday 11th February, J6 held a tea afternoon which they had organised themselves, to raise money for Save the Family, our school charity.
Save the Family is a local Chester charity which gives families in need the support they require to stay together as a family unit.
A great number of parents and families came to support the event as well as our Headmistress Mrs Horner, Reverend Jules, Mrs Heywood, our Chair of Governors and members of the Aldford community.
I am delighted to announce that event was exceptionally successful with the children raising over £300! The children will be having the opportunity to present the money raised to a representative from Save the Family in a special assembly on Tuesday 9th March.
Thank you very much to all the parents who donated cakes, tea and lent us their best china!
