More Musical Success - Peter Edge wins at the Eisteddfod
Year 11 student Peter Edge won the 15-20 yr old vocal class at the International Eisteddfod at Llangollen coming away with a prize of £200. He competed against singers from all over the world, some of which are already students at music Colleges.
Peter aged 16 from Whitchurch has just completed his GCSE's and will be continuing with his vocal studies under his current teacher Edward Hartwell-Jones in the Sixth Form. Peter is a member of the renowned College Chapel Choir and will be touring with them this holiday to perform in Belgium. Peter also plays the Flugel horn and piano.
This is a fantastic achievement for Peter who was accompanied at the Festival by Director of Music Stewart Smith.
The Chapel Choir led Evensong at the Abbey to over 600 visitors every evening.
