Charity and fundraising are key facets of building our community spirit. House Charities are nominated at the beginning of each year and the Sixth Form play a major role in leading such events. Exciting and innovative approaches to raising funds for high profile national causes such as Children in Need and Comic Relief are initiated and organised by the Sixth Form – always entertaining!
In 2007 we raised over £3000 towards the Adolescent Unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
In 2008 over £4000 was raised towards the nominated Charity ‘Little Hearts Matter’.
The social side of Sixth Form life is also important and the lively social committee organise regular events for enjoyment, fundraising and charity.
