Once again the Lower Sixth students spent 3 days in the heart of the Lake District pushing their mind, body and problem solving skills to the limit.
Traversing a river, climbing, abseiling, orienteering, hill walking plus all manner of problem solving activities were undertaken by the students and there proved to be a few very accomplished tree climbers amongst the party!! - signs of an active and possibly misspent youth maybe!
The evenings provided the opportunity to begin thinking about the process of applying to university, as well as exploring some different learning techniques. Entertainment later in the evening was provided by a set of spoons, water and a game where - how shall I put it - the students learnt a lot about themselves (and each other).
Once again the staff at the centre commented on the excellent behaviour and attitude of our students and we would like to extend our thanks to the students for making it another excellent trip.
